How HIDE works

A concealed cover in three steps

The stainless-steel system supports your selected surface material while preserving access to the point below.

    Set the frame

    Install and level the edge-protector frame within the prepared surrounding surface.

  2. 2

    Fit the inlay

    Cut and secure matching tile, stone, paver, decking, turf, or another suitable finish inside the tray.

  3. 3

    Blend and access

    The finished lid sits flush with its surroundings and lifts with the supplied HIDE key when access is needed.

How do I choose the correct inlay depth?

Measure the total finished thickness of the material that will sit inside the cover, including the adhesive or setting layer. Match that measurement to the depth chart above, then choose from the options available on this product.

Can a HIDE cover be installed in an existing deck?

Many HIDE covers can be used for retrofit projects. The opening dimensions, clearance, finished surface thickness and site conditions must be checked before ordering or altering the deck.

Should a professional install the cover?

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Have a licensed, suitably experienced contractor read and follow the applicable installation instructions before work begins; incorrect installation can affect warranty coverage.

What is included with a HIDE kit?

How should the cover be cleaned and maintained?
