The Pentair 261050 is a 2-inch Hi-Flow multiport backwash valve designed to optimize filtration and maintenance for Pentair Triton and Quad-D.E. filters. With six secure positions, pre-plumbed connections, and high flow capacity, it makes backwashing easier while improving overall system performance.

Compatibility & Replacements

Works with Pentair Triton Sand and Quad D.E. filters using 2-inch plumbing. Replaces older 261050 models and valve assemblies in the Hi-Flow line. Not compatible with filters requiring smaller plumbing or different multiport styles.

Installation & Notes

  • Shut off pump and relieve pressure before changing valve position or servicing.
  • Ensure plumbing is properly aligned; plumbing unions should be tight and sealed.
  • Lubricate spider gasket annually to maintain seal and prevent leaks.
  • Winterizing: set to “Winterize” position if applicable and drain to avoid freeze damage.
