Compatibility & Replacements
This feeder is compatible with pool plumbing systems using 1-½″ or 2″ return lines. It replaces previous Rainbow feeders in the same product line (Model 320). For top-feed use ensure plumbing and mounting clearances support the extension. Use only slow-dissolving trichlor or bromine tablets for proper operation.
Installation & Notes
- Install in return line (plumbed inline) ensuring flow direction aligns with feeder’s inlet/outlet.
- Do not overtighten fittings; use proper PVC adhesives where necessary for slip fitting.
- Ensure lid is sealed tightly to prevent spills and reduce fumes.
- Clean and inspect check valve / elbow periodically; replace parts if signs of wear or corrosion occur.
- During winterizing or shutdown seasons, remove tablets and rinse reservoir to prevent damage.
